You may have heard that Griffith University will be relinquishing the Mount Gravatt campus at the end of 2025.

This is creating uncertainty about the future of Yarranlea School and the pool and sports facilities on the site.

After Griffith Uni gives up the site, it could be taken over by the Queensland government for public purposes, or the government could decide to sell it to developers or other private entities.
