Because we have taken on the big mining companies to deliver increased royalties and kept our energy assets in public hands, we’re able to pass on the financial benefits to Queenslanders. 

These directly fund important cost-of-living measures like: 

• $1000 electricity rebates for all Queenslander households
• $1372 electricity rebates for vulnerable Queensland households
• fee-FREE TAFE and free apprenticeships for under 25's
• FREE Kindy for all Queensland families
• freezing of car registration and public transport fares

Unfortunately none of these measures are safe from LNP cuts. 

The LNP have consistently voted against the public ownership of our energy assets and have not committed to keep progressive mining royalties.
